Whittier Road, although the postal address is Knighton Road East,
which is where the Clubhouse is situated..
Directions by car Northbound on M1 Leave the M1 at junction 21A, then keep left (signposted B5380 Braunstone Frith, Kirby Muxloe), At roundabout take the 3rd exit, then join the M1 motorway (signposted London M1) Then as Southbound on M1 Leave the M1 at junction 21, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A5460 (signposted Leicester), Branch left, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A563 (signposted Outer Ring) then immediately Continue forward (signposted Outer Ring, Leicester South and East) At traffic signals continue forward onto Soar Valley Way - A563. Entering Leicester. At traffic signals continue forward (signposted Outer Ring, Leicester South) At Pork Pie Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the B5366 (signposted City Centre) continue along turn right onto Copinger Road then Turn left onto Whittier Road. Ground is on the right hand side. 9.11 Miles from the M1. Nearest Train Station Leicester Mainline Station - 2.3 miles from the ground By Foot from Train Station Exit the station and cross the road onto Waterloo Road, follow road to the end and turn left onto Welford Road, follow along and turn right into Almond road, follow this to the end and then turn left onto Aylestone Road, keep heading down and on your left will be Saffron Lane (B5366) take this road and then the fourth road on the left is Knighton Lane East. |
